I consider myself very fortunate to have made acquaintances with some of Jimmy's relatives.  Through those acquaintances, I have acquired some photos that show a side of Jimmy's life most of us were not privy to.  Please enjoy...

From Marti Griffin

This is a photo of Jimmy sitting at his piano with his Oscar by his side and his record awards hanging on the wall behind him.

From Kathy (Griffin) Shepherd-Lane:

This was Thanksgiving,  2001.  It was taken at my parents' house in Paducah, Kentucky.  Jamey was getting ready to move to California, and Jimmy and Katy and I were all helping him get packed.  This photo also features Jimmy's only grandchild, Lilli.

From Kathy (Griffin) Shepherd-Lane:

Jimmy, from a trip to Hawaii, about 1980.

Jimmy and Rick Earwood (FM-100 DJ from Memphis) on the balcony of our West Hollywood condo, about 1980.

From Kathy (Griffin) Shepherd-Lane:

Jimmy, Jamey and myself, same trip to Hawaii.  Rick accompanied us on the trip to Hawaii and L.A.  Jimmy & Jamey got stung by stingrays in Hawaii and they were putting aloe on their bites.

These are from Neva Griffin - Jimmy's mom, sent to me around 1999:
